We want to stress two Important things to remember:

1. You need to optimize your LinkedIn Profile and Resume when you are in a career transition otherwise you are at the mercy of the Applicant Tracking System, better known as the ATS system. This system will throw your profile out if it doesn’t match the keyword requirements for the job search. When this happens it is as though your profile goes into a black hole where no one sees it, which is why you do not hear back from a prospective employer.
2. Fact –  There is a direct correlation between the size of your network and the amount of time it takes to find a job. So remember to utilize your network in your job search.
